Here is the story:
I legitimately purchased an iPhone 4 from someone. Prior to doing so I asked for the IMEI and checked to see if the phone was indeed usable. Turns out, this guy must have known what he was doing! Of course the number came back clean.

Within hours of the purchase I went to hard factory restore it, input all of my cloud information, downloaded everything I wanted. The phone let me. Then, it was time to activate it with my cell service. I went to Straight Talk BYOP, a service I've always used.

UNABLE TO ACTIVATE IT VIA BYOP

So, I tried every possible BYOP prepaid service known to the US. Still nothing.
After trying all of these, I called Verizon, which the phone is in network with, and discovered that this stupid device is under the LOST OR STOLEN LIST.

I have spent two months trying absolutely every hack I can find. Because I really did pay for it, it is in impeccable condition, and obviously I can't get in contact with the person I bought it from, I NEED THIS PHONE.

The biggest problem I am having while trying to find a solution via Google or YouTube is that every video or instruction seems to revolve around "activation lock", "icloud lock", "find my iphone", "passcode problems", ect.I DO NOT HAVE ANY OF THESE PROBLEMS. I do not have a passcode. I imagine that I basically have a phone that is "mine" considering that every account was easily put in my name, my icloud is on it, everything. I have even tried a method in which I made the iphone mine via find my iphone, then locked it on find my iphone, then went to icloud on my pc and "found" it, to try to remove the Lost/Stolen that way. Obviously a fail.

My two questions are this:

1. WHERE THE HELL IS MY IMEI. It is NOT in my "About". It is NOT on the back of the phone...to my knowledge. It is NOT in my Itunes board. WHERE THE HELL IS IT

and

2. HOW CAN I MAKE THIS WONDERFUL IPHONE ACTIVATE WITH A BYOP SERVICE and/or REMOVE THE LOST/STOLEN THING.

Thank you soooooo much for any advice. If you are going to comment "congrats, you bought a $200 paperweight that you can listen to music on", save your wifi. I've been seeing that for two months...

1. it should show up in settings about and it should show up in iTunes.
2. your screwed unless verizon removes it from their list, anytime you report a phone stolen its reported to all carriers

i bought a fire phone. i thought it had an okay imei. when i called AT&T to activate it, they told me it was a prototype or a store demo and they refused to activate it. and i had to get my money back

The Verizon iPhone 4 doesn't have an IMEI, only an ESN. The ESN is blocked by Verizon and won't activate on their network. There's no hack you can do as the block is on their end.
