When I get notified by an app (Bleacher Report), I pull down NC and tap on the alert to go straight into the app, but why is the message still there in NC? I thought it clears as soon as you open the app. It's annoying that I have to manually clear it.
Some apps clear it, others don't. Been like that since iOS 5 or so. It seems like it depends on the app doing it or not doing it.

my stupid question is, before IOS 7 I would get the Weather notification when I would swipe down that menu from the top...no I get the Date, stock updates calendar but no weather notification, how do I enable that? I have Yahoo Weather installed....I have Weather turned on .....what else do I do?

Do you have today summary turned on in notification center settings? Do you have location services enabled for weather in settings?

YES on both, turned on and the other is enabled...yes...it must be something else I'm missing...

Settings>Notification Center> "TODAY VIEW" do you have "Today Summary" turned on?. If you turn this off, it turns off the weather summary.

BTW, once you have the weather summary there, just click on it to go to the weather app.

Location Services for Weather has to be on as well.

Swipe left.

Now what I can't figure out is how to delete only parts of a conversation thread....

oh wait....figured that out. You have to click on a specific conversation bubble...then it'll open up the old 'edit' function to let you check which parts of a thread you want to delete.

Cheers. I wonder why the couldn't have kept it as was? Don't like the design of the delete as well as change in direction.

downloading from itunes website didnt work. It seems to think i've already got it!

no luck. gonna restore iphone back to 6 i think
Try again, it seems to be updated now: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
My stupid questions:

-in the notifications menu, is there a way to disable checking off reminders? I use reminders to keep track of my bills, and accidentally marking them as complete could be very bad.
-is there a way to select which calendars appear in the notifications menu?
-is there a way to get the notification menu to show upcoming calendar appointments in point form? I'm not loving the 6 hour calendar view. I'm also not loving that it will tell me I have am event tomorrow at a specific time, but not what the event is.
-I'm not getting all my twitter notifications. I know the problem isn't on Twitter's end since I'm still getting them on my ipad which I haven't upgraded yet.
Settings>Notification Center> "TODAY VIEW" ...these are the only options for now, the customizations you want, I don't see a way to do them. You could disable reminders in Today View...you can still get your banners or alerts in notifications All tab. (Settings>Notification Center>Reminders)

Have you signed in to twitter on your iPhone since updating to iOS 7? Settings>Twitter> check here to see if you are signed in. If yes, have you used twitter app on your iPhone yet? If no, it may not be active.

Will the iPad Facebook app have the icons at the bottom like the refreshed for iPhone iOS 7 has? I really like the new iPhone version.

For me it is; I don't want to stare at the same colors over and over and over and over and over for another 5 years. I was so excited when imessages were blue so I could stop starting at that green.

It's important to me and I suspect others would also want that ability to customize. It's not going to tax the processor to do so.

I would've loved that option as well. That's one of the first things I normally change when I jailbreak.

Alternative download methods?

Does anyone know of a UK based download system that can be used with Narrowband (its the spawn of Dial up and Broadband) in a rural area - currently sitting at 7 hours to download.

Nope. You be better going into an apple store to download over the store wifi or go to a cafe place that has wifi or a friends house who has broadband.

Signing out Accounts

Apps such as Mailbox and Snapchat are signing out automatically requiring an account name and password every time I open them? Is there a setting I need to change to stop this?

My stupid question;

How do I remove iCloud tabs in safari?

I've reset both my iPad and iPhone and yet there's an old iCloud tab there that shouldn't be there after a reset. Starting to bug me big time. :(

Updated apps

On the App Store it shows what apps have been updated and what date they were done. When do these apps move away from the updated screen. As they are showing there constantly.

Thank you, especially for the tip about disabling reminders in Today View! Yes I have used the twitter app, that was the first thing I tried. I'm getting some of my notifications but not all of them. I seem to be getting more and more lately, so maybe the issue is resolving itself.
