hi you all,

my sister bought a MacBook 12" early this year, and she's dropped on the wood floor, choc on the corner of back and won't start again, absolutely nothing happens when touch the power on button, cant feel temp of charge neither, but the case has the good form, not dammaged at all, she's sent it to her assurance company, but they won't repair it, so she ask me to see if I can repair, when I open the case, I saw the power cable was almost cut away, it should be some stupid beginner did this when my sister sent to assurance, the cable serial number is 821-00828-A mfc 2217, it's too new to find it on the net, eBay seller told me it's the same with 2016 version, so I've replaced ed a cable 821-00482-05 mfc 0116 (they said it's compatible as 821-00482-A), the form is the same, and I felt the temper on battery when it charge, but it still wont start, could anyone know where is the short power pad on this model please? or some other ways to power it on without power button? i keep the case open and waiting your advice, thank you so much guys.

I recommend taking it to a local Apple repair shop that can perform board-level repairs.

Changing other components may cause other components to fail on the board.

problème solved, there is another cable nappe link to lcd was Brocken too, it was hide and I did not find it at first disgnostique, I've change it and now the mb has back to life, as I guessed, apple things are very strong, it cant be that easy to be dead, especially without screen Brocken, without batterie dead, but the guy from assurence who open the case at the first time is too amateur, he knows absolutely nothing about mb12 and he opened from the back screen connecter place, I was him who broke the cables, I've told my sister never go there anymore, and never use the same assurance, anyway she's happy with the result after I've paid 50 euros for two cables, and thank you so much for your help, I like bricolage on Macs, and if sometimes apple or assurance could not help, we can help ourselves. have a good day guys, you are so nice.
