Well, these are not two exact game types...

Real Racing is "real racing" on a racing track just without any extra bonuses.

Asphalt is something like NFS. The graphics is not that good like RR2 and there are Nitro Boosts, you can eliminate other cars by crashing them. There are lots of speed ups and different game modes. And you can easily reach a 600km/h speed which I suppose is not very realistic.

So, I prefer real racing, because the UI is more user friendly, it's more realistic, better graphics and so on.

/e Also Asphalt crashes quite a lot.

its like forza vs nfs. Both are fun, I have both and prefer real racing so far, although I haven't played a6 enough.

In my opinion, Real Racing. The graphics are way better and I personally find RR more fun.

However, it is like comparing different games, as someone said above. It's sort of akin to Burnout Paradise v Gran Turismo 5 - BP may provide a more free environment and maybe be slightly more entertaining, where as GT is like a driving simulator.

Asphalt series is more popular ( like nfs ) while real racing is more of well real racing :p

So no comparison...

Its like xbox 360 ( asphalt ) vs Ps3 ( real racing )
