I would like to pose a question to all you Web Develpers out there. I am presently looking into becoming a Web Developer/Programmer and know HTML and Javascript. Now I have been starting some PHP, however in this Web 2.o era, What do you guys recommend one's route be as far as languages/technologies are to learn?

I know there is so many web technologies out there that it gets ridiculous like Ajax, Jakarta, Python, etc. So any tips? Thanks

PHP, SQL, AJAX, Ruby, Python.

I belieave that in the Web 2.0 era these will be prevalent, and when we move to web 3.0 and server-side web serices I believe that Ruby will be really relevant.

and If you are planning on getting involved in Web 2.0 then I suggest choosing and working with a Content Management system. There are many but I would say that Drupal is the most secure and popular.
