Aspyr games and the new macbook pro

Anyone know if the new retina macbook will be able to run any of the Aspyr games from the app store? I've searched their website and couldn't find any mention of the new retina display. I'm specifically interested in whether or not there will be support for the increased resolutions and more importantly whether or not the new graphics card will work without further drivers/patches since its not listed as supported. Would I be better off just downloading games (Civ 5) from Steam?

They will work fine on the new MBP. You should buy Civ 5 on Steam anyway though, because the MAS version doesn't have multiplayer (and you also get the PC version.)

To be fair, the MAS version has LAN multiplayer.

In any case, we won't add the HD4000 or Geforce GT 650M to any supported list until we've had ample time to test our games on those cards.

I did witness Civ V running at a crazy resolution on a Retina MBP this morning, but it's too early to tell if it works without any problems as is.
