All of my Apple computers (mac mini, core duo MBP, core2duo macbook) have been assembled in China. (as stated on the side of the box). I recently purchased a 2.8 and noticed it says it was Assembled in the United States. I also paid for fast shipping and it was shipped out of CA somewhere. Any ideas? I was under the assumption that Apple and moved all of it's production overseas?

Nope.
That's a common thought though that I've noticed around here.

They still have a place putting them out in the states..

And from what I understand, they don't have many of the problems that some of the other iMac's that come from places like China, etc. do.
