Figment, Inc. is proud to announce the release of AssistantCoach (http://appshopper.com/sports/assistant-coach)

From little league to the big leagues, coaches at all levels can make use of Assistant Coach for the iPhone or iPod Touch. Co-developed with a collegiate level baseball coach, Assistant Coach provides a set of useful tools for making a coach's job easier. Assistant Coach features:

- Stop Watch: useful for calculating pitch speeds or the wind-up/delivery of a pitcher to determine if your runner can steal a base.

- Pitch Counter: to keep track of how your pitcher is doing. Keeps track of balls, strikes, and total pitches. Pitch counts can be saved for later viewing and you can drill down to view a pitcher's total counts.

- Umpire Clicker: simple interface to simulate an ump clicker. Just tap the button for balls, strikes, outs, and innings.

It's a very simple app that gets the job done. Version 1.1 already submitted that will keep pitch and umpire counts on app exit. If anyone here is a baseball coach, please give feedback as to what else you might like to see in an app like this. Please note that this is not meant to be a full score keeping, stat keeping app. Just a simple set of tools for a coach. A handful of promo codes will be available in the next few days for coaches. We'll need to see how many we'll have left.

Promo codes will be available after we determine how many we have left to share with the MR community.

Any coaches that download the app, please feel free to provide input/feedback. We're looking to make it a great, simple app.

Promo codes have been posted in the Code Sharing forum. If this thread needs to be merged with that one, can a mod please take care of that?
