2G 1066MHz -> 4G 1333MHz save times and cost upgrading. No computer should be sold with less than 4G And faster RAM as well. All good.

2.66 Core 2 Duo -> 2.3 i5 - faster but how much?

Since it hasn't been released yet, no one knows.

But looking at the MBP2011 benchmarks due to Sandy Beach, it is probably going to be quite a bit faster.

the bench mark high for a 2009 or a 2010 mac mini at geekbench is about 4100 the new 13 inch macbook pro is getting 5950... that is huge difference. assuming you get t-bolt you don't need a fast inside drive .

since daisy chain is easy. go mini /lacie ssd raid0/ a big storage addon the interior hdd is just for backup. this is quite a few ifs but they look to be all lined up. do yourself a favor and wait and see what happens. the above improvements appear to be really a done deal for the macbook 13. they are huge. they would be for the huge for the mini. as for the graphics no one will know until they sit down with a 2011 mini and run some tests. I want to point out that add on raid0 from lacie would be insanely fast silly fast it would spit on any ssd setup for todays mac mini for a lot of reasons. do your self a favor don't buy a 2010 mini and kick your self in the butt in a few weeks. if you must have a mini today look for a 2009 at apple's online site


this comes back into stock now and then maybe it will go a bit lower in price.

I also think the 2011 Mini will be pretty much the same as the new 13" MBP.

I`m also going to say that I don`t think they`ll change the casing at all or remove the superdrive.
