Greetings to all readers.
I recently came across a post about photos of the Milky Way and Andromeda taken with the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
I want to share with you my astrophotos taken with the iPhone XR.
To get these shots, I took a large series of RAW files, after which I stacked them and processed them.
What do you think?)

That’s very good. How many raw files were stacked? I’m the one who took the Milky Way shots with the 14 pro max recently. Also
What app is shown in your screenshots? I’ve thought of stacking multiple raw files to get better results, but I have too much light pollution where I live and don’t have the opportunity to get under dark skies that often. I’ve even used the even longer app to stack dozens of images in Raw to edit in Lightroom, but the 1” exposure times per shot just don’t pull in enough light to do anything with.

Your shots are great, I love the colors you got with Orion. Bernard’s loop and Lambda Orion (red area above orion) shows up well. I can also see the flame nebula. I have the Skywatcher Star Adventurer for tracking, and Lightroom for edits. No astronomy software at the moment.

I DID NOT TAKE THESE:

My friend Darin Koch took these images with his iPhone 13 Pro Max through the eyepiece of his 16” Telescope in Fort Davis, Texas. They were in jpeg unfortunately, using night mode. I further edited them for him. But it goes to show what you can get just through the eyepiece of a telescope. Incredible detail in a 30” exposure.

The pictures you have attached are very cool!
I just used the Even Longer app. In order to get such images, I stacked at least 100 shots of 20 seconds into the Sequator.
If in order, then:
1) 250 x 20
2) 460 x 10
3) 100 x 20
4) 112 x 20
5) 200 x 20.
For processing, I used Starnet ++ and Photoshop

Amazing pics! Would you mind to share how you got these pics? I’ve downloaded the app but I’m a newbie 😅

First you need to buy the pro version of the application, since shooting in raw is available there. We definitely need Raw. Next, you should switch to Star Trails mode. Press the FA button to change mode. Next, set the maximum ISO, Total time I set 20 seconds. You need to take a series of pictures. Interval repetitions - number of snapshots, interval delay - pause between snapshots. Further, the obtained images need to be stacked in Sequator. After that, already processing)
