hey! sorry for posting this in a wrong area but. i heard asus's build quality is wonderful and that it competes with apple in terms of that. also i heard sony was also prety impressive.. anyone can state the closest pc brand to apple. and please.. no dell or compaq or hp (really bad expereince that cost me 10000 dollars)

Asus really does make a solid PC. I have an EEE (though, currently sitting in my room unused) that is built like a tank.
Plus, they make many of their own components right down to the board level, so they can have similar results as Apple, who does a lot of their own hardware in-house as well.
