I just did a little research on this tablet and it seems like a great alternative to the iPad 3. I don't want an iPad because I already have an iPhone but I do like the idea of an HD tablet and I've never used the Android OS. I might just order one of these tomorrow and see what Jelly Bean and Android is all about. Does anyone have any experience with this tablet? Any opinions?

I think an iPhone + Android tablet is a good combo. I know somebody who has a dumbphone + iPad combo. Personally I don't see the point in a tablet as I already own a smartphone.
That being said, I am currently an Android user. Do you like emulation, movies in .mkv format or reading books/comics/manga?
I've got a TF201 and an iPad 3 so i feel i'm qualified to intervene here.
iPad - initially nice but gets boring so so quickly and is actually rather uncomfortable to hold
TF201 - lacks the squeaky smooth UI that the iPad offers but there's a reason for that - the OS is feature full and complete. If you had both, you'd always end up going back to the transformer.
p.s the dock is AWESOME

Newegg is good, but I think you will get a better recommendation from Androidcentral.com. Or Androidforums.com
As for the TF 700, I have heard lots of great things about it. I would put it on par with the new ipad. Just my opinion from what I have read online though. I have no experience with it.
The android tablet interface is much more like a full computer in my opinion. The transformers dock is sick s well and offers ridiculously good battery. I think you'd be happy with the tf700.
Being able to have a filesystem and use files in any app also makes it much more like a real computer.
I was wondering if anyone noticed a remarkable difference in resolution between the new infinity and the former prime. Is it that remarkable or is just an Asus ugly trick to hide the Android endless minuses. I'm especially worried about the cons mentioned at http://www.squidoo.com/asus-tf700t
Depends how you define "remarkable" I guess. The difference is pretty straight forward... 1280x800 pixels on the prime and 1920x1200 on the infinity. It's no "ugly trick" by ASUS, it just is what it is, an HD screen.
Only con mentioned on there is "average" battery life but I think they're rated at 9.5+ hours or something. I guess if you use your tablet for 9+ hours in a day in a place where you cant charge it, that could be a deal breaker.
I get mine tomorrow so I should be able to post back with a more in depth review soon, however it will be my first tablet and first android device so I won't have much to compare it with.
