After 2 failed attempts at getting a new iMac (both had display issues)..I am now a proud owner of a perfectly functional 20'' 2.4ghz model. It really is an amazing machine....couldn't be happier, and just had to blurt out some love! :apple::):apple:

No, it's my 3rd iMac overall. I had a G5, then a white Intel and now this one.....but a Mac is a gift that just keeps on giving, so the excitement remains!

Did you buy online or in the store? How much grief did you have to go through for exchanges. I'm having a real PITA time dealing with my apple store AND going through the apple customer service trying to get my 24" exchanged. I've had to deal with genius bar employees, store manager, apple phone tech support, product specialist, etc. They're seriously making it a pain just to exchange!

The first attempt was online, and it was a total pain getting through Apple's support but they picked it up and refunded it ok. My next attempt was at the Apple store nearby - no problems with the exchange, although I did have to wait nearly 45 mins before I got anyone's attention...

That makes me so mad at how inconsistent their customer service seems to be. Some people are able to exchange machines multiple times until they get one that works and there are people like me that are getting jerked around by the employees saying it's normal an within Apple specs (including store managers) and essentially refuse to exchange... even during the 14 day return period. I've even been getting mixed results over the phone trying to get this solved with Apple. Frustrating

I am confused. You had 2 iMacs arrive non-functional?
Wow, so much for the "superior" quality everyone harps about here...
