Hello. I hope that this is in the right place, I didn't see buying advice for iPhones but I saw buying buying advice for Macs so I don't know if this is the right place or not.

This is my first post thread so please be super nice to me.

I'm sorry for this being super long and I hope everything makes sense. I will edit this post if I need to. Thank you in advance.

I know for a fact that my mom got an iPhone 13 128GB for $5.99 per month for 36 months on the highest end unlimited data plan at AT&T during AT&T's sale promotion for people using the highest end unlimited data plan. I would say around two years ago after her horrible car accident to where her old car and her old iPhone SE (2nd-generation) got completely destroyed is when my mom got her iPhone 13.

I have been patiently waiting for the iPhone 15 128GB to lower its price to $5.99 per month for 36 months on the highest end unlimited data plan at AT&T and I saw today during the night that the price finally dropped to $10.99 (per month for 36 months on the highest end unlimited data plan) from $15.99 (per month for 36 months on the highest end unlimited data plan) for the iPhone 15 128GB at AT&T.

I know for a fact that the iPhone SE (3rd-generation) 64GB at AT&T has been $5.99 (per month for 36 months on the highest end unlimited data plan) for a while now and I don't want that iPhone due to many reasons that I won't get into here due to it being a long list of reasons.

And I know for a fact from researching online multiple times in the pass few months that AT&T did a sale promotion for the iPhone 14 128GB for $5.99 (per month for 36 months on the highest end unlimited data plan) starting sometime in November (last year) and ending sometime in January (this year) and I'm wondering if the iPhone 15 128GB will lower its price to $5.99 (per month for 36 months on the highest end unlimited data plan at AT&T).

I'm worried that the iPhone 15 128GB won't get to the price that I'm looking for due (I'm looking for the $5.99 a month price range) to the iPhone SE (3rd-generation) 64GB filling the $5.99 a month price point at AT&T.

I'm on the highest end unlimited data plan at AT&T with 4 lines with my family and I only want to upgrade one iPhone to the iPhone 15 for one line.

I'm again sorry for this being super long and I again hope everything makes sense. I will edit this post if I need to. Thank you again in advance.

Do you think the price for the iPhone 15 128GB at AT&T will get even lower to like $5.99 (per month for 36 months on the highest end unlimited data plan at AT&T)?

You repeated so many times 5.99 a month on the highest end unlimited data plan that it almost sounds like an ad lol

Also, do you really need this plan? It must be expensive. Do the maths. If you buy the phone and get a cheaper plan, over the span of 3 years, wouldn’t you save money? (I have no idea about the figures but I’m pretty sure you would…)

I know that I repeated "5.99 a month on the highest end data plan" a lot because I wanted to be extremely clear on what plan I was on and what iPhone that I'm looking at.

I'm currently in college so my parents pay for my data plan because we have crappy internet at home due to living out in the country and we use the data plan that we has a family of 4 is on all the time. It is expensive but I think it is worth it for now.

When I get off of the data plan that I'm currently on sometime in the far future when it happens, I will get on my own cheapest plan at AT&T when I can get a new iPhone also. So my budget will be $75 a month when that happens.
