On my AT&T account usage under data, what's the difference between "phone" and "web access"?

phone = Cell usage

web access = Internet usage (data, email, etc)

sounds simple enough, but when it says "phone" i know it's accessing data because I stream Shoutcast while at work.

so what's the difference between that and web access?

He was referring to the word "phone" and "web access" that he sees under his Data Usage.

While I don't know why it says "phone" or "web access", your best bet is to call 611 from your phone (AT&T) and ask them what's the difference on both. On my data usage I only see "phone" (under data usage) when I surf the internet on 3G and stream music via Slacker/Pandora.
