Has something changed with AT&T and tethering with their limited gigs plans? I forgot what it was called we only pay for 30GB a month.

For some reason I can not get my iPad to tether to my iPhone.

Make sure Personal Hotspot is turned on in Settings. Then connect to that hotspot from your iPad. If that doesn't work, begin standard troubleshooting, like rebooting the phone, then the iPad, try to connect with other devices, etc.

It is enabled.

I just tried rebooting my phone and tablet and nothing. The iPad refuses to see iPhone hotspot.

Stupid Apple changed the way the iPad tethers to the iPhone now.

I use ATT with a 30 gig plan and I have not noticed any issues with my iPhone 7plus to my Air2, MBPr, my son's iPad Mini, or any other device that I try to tether off the main 7 Plus.

Are both devices on the same iCloud account? If not I think it helps to have the tethering menu open on the phone when you search on the tablet.
