Anyone else have a long bill? Mine included 30 pages of data usage, lol. My first bill is $157 just because of the account startup fees. Might have to upgrade to unlimited text messages, I used 156 of 160? (I need to call them, it should be listed 156 of 200 so they cut me out of 40 txt messages??? Why would it be listed twice?)

I was shocked at how long the AT&T bill is. While I appreciate their how thorough they are with it (no doubt on account of past complaints) I am staggered by the sheer wastefulness of it.
I paid my bill today and made sure to sign up for paperless billing.

I just saw the three hundred page bill on Fox News. Needless to say, I have gone paperless.
Is paperless when they automatically charge your credit card or just notify you by e-mail that your bill is ready and you can pay online. I don't like giving any company authorization to just magically take my money every month.

I don't have the iPhone yet, hopeing to get it or a macbook.
I will definatly tell my parents to get paperless billing. Of cours in a couple of months if I get it, most likely I will get the macbook, they will have all of this sorted out due to the amount of complaints that are going to come to at&t.

Well, I don't believe amount of txt messages will be my worry. Currently my cingular phone has 1,000 txt messages, when I buy the iPhone it adds 20bucks to my bill and also 200txt messages, with the unlimited data.
Oh give me a break.All this hype about paperless and we get nothing for doing this. I would sign up for it if AT&T gave us a 5.00 credit on our bill. It saves them money but we get nothing in return for doing it.

Umm, I think the satisfaction of saving a tree every month has something to do with it.
maybe you should also know she had THIRTY THOUSAND TEXT MESSAGES so although I bet data usage did contribute to a bulk of the 300 pages, I think the most came from THIRTY THOUSAND text messages...
For all those people worrying about the trees. ATT has sent out an email stating that all new iphone customers will get summary bills when they sign and if they want detail billing they will have to pay an extra 1.99 per line. As for anyone else you can switch to summary bill and view the details online. Also if you are in the northeast and make a price plan change or change any features you will be switched to summary billing.
Mine did not come in a box as posted a week ago by someone, but it was in a legal sized envelope. I have set my account to paperless which will take effect next month. Really though, AT7T wastes a lot of paper on crap we will not read. I don't need to know exactly were each byte of data is coming from or going to. It's just ridiculous.
