Hello, I'm a current AT&T customer and I want an iPhone. I wanted one when I upgraded in December, but I get a good deal on my wireless, TV and internet if I get all three through a local company and at the time they didn't offer the iPhone, but now they do. I doubt I can do much to convince them to sell me one for upgrade price, but I need to get a new phone since the one I 'upgraded' to is already starting to crap out on me.

Anyway, is there anything I should look for as far as a used iPhone goes? What should I watch out for? If I get a killer deal on a 1st generation would that be horrible to buy? Thanks for any input that you may be able to offer! -Brad

As long as you are not concerned about the features that the 2G iPhone does not have (when compared to newer iPhones) then you should be fine.

Obvious things to look out for is whether WiFi/Bluetooth work correctly, sensors and most importantly the battery.
