AT&T discounting Family plans - free money

By merely calling AT&T, I got a $250 credit and obtained $40 per month reduction in my Family Plan. We have 3 iPhones.

Verizon started a price war on unlimited plans. AT&T matched it.
I called to see if it applied to Family Plans as well.

Give them a call.

Ooh! Details please! What Family Plan are you on, what were you paying before, and what is the breakdown of the discount you got?

Is it because you were paying for unlimited minutes on some (or all) of your family plan lines, or are they discounting all family plans??
