AT&T hints that new iPhone pricing goes through Jan. 31, 2008

AT&T has updated the iPhone prices on their website to reflect the $200 price drop. They have also hinted that the special pricing is available "Now through January 31, 2008."

Does this mean we can expect Apple to announce a new price drop, or perhaps a 2G iPhone by February 1, 2008?

Could be. Maybe thats when stocks will be so low, the rest will be sold as "refurb"...

well if a new 3G iphone is announced in january, it could make sense. we'll know before MWSF if apple tries to get FCC approval for a launch in February. otherwise, i dont know what will happen between jan 31 and june. it'll take at least 6 months for FCC approval.
