Okay, I have AT&T DSL Pro, so I qualify for the free WIFI Hotspot access. But everytime I have to put in my username and password (which can be long). I've even tried setting it up under "WIFI Settings" in the phone... thinking it would automatically connect when I'm at that particular Hotspot. But everytime, it takes me to the AT&T "Get Connected Now" page... where you have to scroll down to the "User Login". Then input your User ID, select the service provider (SBC Global - in my case), then enter your password, and click on the "I agree..." box.

So is this the same way it works for you? Is there anyway to make it a known network, and to auto connect without entering all your personal data each time?

My coffee order is usually up before I can get connected.

Any help, Thanks!

I follow the same proceedure except I use swbell.net(my original ISP) It works just fine. The only problem is if I put it back in my pocket and bring it out later, I have to login all over again. You would think that it would hold the lease for at least an hour. I have been told that att is working to automatically log swbell, sbc global, etc as att but they have higher priority problems. One suggestion, type your password carfully and watch that each stroke pops up as the correct input.

Thanks for the confirmation. I justed wanted to be sure there wasn't another procedure I should be following.
