The reps don't seem to know what this is. Supposed to be $5 a month for 30 months savings for activating 5G/Data plan...

Been on AT&T Chat since 9:30AM, rep transfers me without saying anything, next rep (lead) keeps saying wrong information, said to contact Apple. First Apple rep magically disconnects the chat, now I'm with a second one.

Edit: Second rep disconnected. Now talking to third one.

I just added the iPad to my account when I first got it, the first month there was no credit, but the second month they gave me the first three credits altogether. I just got my third bill with the iPad and it only had 1 credit, 4 out of 30. I didn't have to do anything special for it.

Apple rep said the promotion expired June 27th. Failed to read or comprehend that I explained I activated the 5G Data plan when I got the iPad Pro May...what was it, 20th/21st? It's like talking to a brick wall with these reps. And of course, they said to contact AT&T. LOL

Said no such promotion exists, that it's expired (DUH), and that I have to contact the manufacturer (Apple), which I did already and they said to contact AT&T. This is ridiculous for the amount of time I have spent this morning.

I think that was part of a promotion through Apple and AT&T when you had a trade in and processed the trade in and activated the iPad on AT&T on their website

From at&t
How do ATT bill credits work?
Credits start within 3 bills after trade-in is completed and will be applied in equal amounts over the term of installment agreement. You will receive catch-up credits once bill credits start. Credit will not exceed the lower of the device cost or the max credit amount as defined above.

Nah, it wasn't that. The promotion was to have 5G/Data activated after you purchase the new iPad Pro 12.9"
