I attempted to install iOS 8.4.1 on my AT&T iPhone 6. I got the iOS 8.4.1 firmware from ipsw.me. I tried to enter pwned DFU but when into recovery so first the custom install fails and second it gets stuck in recovery (no way out except for restoring to iOS 9.0.2. Note: I said restore because the update option will fail). And yes, 8.4.1 is still being signed. It's 8.4 is not being signed.

iPhone AT&T iPhone 6 stuck in recovery while installing iOS 8.4.1

I didn't even know it was possible to put the iPhone 6 into pwned DFU mode. And as far as I know, there is no software out there that builds custom ipsw's for iOS 7+
Although ipsw.me shows that 8.4.1 is still signed, iDB has reported that 8.4.1 is no longer signed

according to http://9to5mac.com they stopped signing 8.4.1 ( even though ipsw.me says it's still being signed)
