at&t managers have conference call tomorrow morning

I went in to my local corporate at&t store this afternoon to make sure my account was clear for friday. Since I need to opt out early in order to upgrade, the guy who was helping me was unsure of what he needed to do, so he called his manager over on her way out.

What she said was, "call back tomorrow at about this time because I should be off my conference call with corporate and I'll have all the information I need for you and I'll know about the data plans"

This is an almost guarantee that either:
A) The plans will be released tomorrow morning, and all the managers will be briefed immediately afterward or..

B) The managers will be informed tomorrow and the plans released Wednesday morning.

Finally....

If this is true, then Apple may be moving from MWF for news to TTh for news.

I hope that they release the plan info tomorrow then release some secret features Thursday.

I have a feeling that if they brief the managers before releasing the plans, the news would be leaked all over the internet by Wed. morning. So, Apple will probably release the plans tomorrow.

Wed: Google gears or some other method of editing docs
Thur: iChat (no video just chat)

Ya, I doubt that news will be released every day until the release. I think Tues/Thurs news days sounds reasonable. Release the plans tomorrow, get the usual "it's overpriced," and have Wednesday for a cooling off period (if that's possible lol). Then release some secret features Thursday so all those who think the plans are outrageous will be unable to resist.

I am hoping for iChat as a secret feature but also want them to show the camera app, along with (hopefully) the ability to capture video and upload it to Youtube.

I just want the iChat, it almost seems like it HAS to get iChat eventually. Now what would be really great is an iChat that uses the data network to message and NOT use up your text messages.

If they let you iChat via SMS and the plan included unlimited text messages, then you would be good to go, no? Wouldn't be surprised if they go that route.

I forgot something in my post above...

I think one of the days may be Apple's added features/after market add ons. We have not seen the Bluetooth headset yet and I think there will also be a GPS add on as well (the training manual for AT&T says its not part of the current "feature set" - referring to the phone - the language is odd to me in that it implies its available in another form...)

But one of the days will be plans and the other will be the headset for sure. So everything else is icing

iphone play book

I was in my local ATT store on Sunday and the sales guy I was talking to had a spiral bound book he called his "iphone booke" I have no idea what was in the book, but he said he would be terminated if the book left the store. He also didn't know **** about the phone. I told him to watch the 20 minute movie on the Apple site.
