Now that's it's pretty easy to get El Capitan working on a 2006/2007 Mac Pro, I was curious if anyone's found a way to enable AT&T NumberSync/WiFi Calling on these Mac Pros?

It doesn't seem to work with El Capitan v10.11.2. I've not found a good reason why it shouldn't be supported, but I'm guessing that this feature is being limited to only supported system IDs.

Note that I'm not talking about Phone Calling and Handoff where an iPhone is on the same network with WiFi. That works perfectly on a 2006/2007 Mac Pro using FaceTime:

I'm talking about full independent WiFi Calling support, which isn't enabled on these Mac Pros, which would look like this:

I'll be watching for an answer also. My Mac Pro is a 4,1 and I'd like this feature also. Need to try my MBPR, but don't have it with me right now.

BTW it works perfectly on my iPad Mini Retina, and Apple Watch. This number sync feature is really great.

So... I did nothing and changed nothing.

But my Pikefy-installed El Capitan (10.11.4) 2006 Mac Pro just turned on NumberSync by itself. Something AT&T did?

Weird. Maybe something to do with the Pike bootloader. It's still not available to enable on my 4,1->5,1 with 10.11.4

Waking from the dead... Any answer on this? BTW it works perfectly only iPad, watch, MBPR.
