AT&T SIM card Question

I have an iPhone with AT&T on my own plan with unlimited data and txt plus minutes.

My company gave me a Blackberry Bold 9000 which has a Corp unlimted everything plan.

Question is they will allow me to use my iPhone and I can put their SIM card in my phone so I own my phone but use their SIM card and they pay the whole bill.

Will this work ok because it would be nice to have them pay for it all and then I can cancel my AT&T plan, or should I call AT&T. i thought the SIM cards were interchangable but I was wondering if anyone came across a similar situation.

Chance are good your company would say no to it. Doing the sim switch removes the companies IT policies and it will prevent you from accessing the BES server for you company because that requires you to have a blackberry.

They already said I could do this just that the person who handles the phones only works on BB's so he was not sure if I could pull an iPhone SIM card and swap it with a BB Bold SIM card and how that would work on an iPhone even though my account and the companies have unlimited data and txt.

Yea, try it. The only thing is that AT&T will recognize that you are using an iPhone, and may want to change the specific way your company is billed.

Then this guy is an idiot and should be fired. You cannot define an iPhone to a BES server. So, you won't be getting corporate email on you iPhone, which, on second thought, might be a good idea.
