According to this Reuters report, AT&T has all but sold out its supply of iPhones:

"“Virtually all of our stores sold out of the iPhone last night,” AT&T spokesman Mark Siegel said, declining to specify how many units had been sold.

AT&T, which runs about 1,800 stores in the United States, was still taking orders for iPhones and giving customers the option of picking the handset up in a store later or having it shipped to them directly, Siegel said."

In the meantime, the Applestore a few blocks from my house is still going strong.

Huh... my AT&T was sold out completely. So I go to the Apple Store, and their all sold out too.:(
I am going tomorrow morning at 8:00 AM, just to make sure I get one.

Thats funny I went to an at&t at 8 last night and was 89 in line and got an 8 gig phone with the people behind me getting them also

that's funny because people that didn't get to my at&t by 12:30 noon were SOL for any 8 gigs ... if they didn't get there by 4 they didn't get a 4gig.

that's yesterday ... who knows about today's supply.

this was an out-of-the-way non-obvious at&t store in atlanta

i believe their entire inventory was 30 units total. i got the 2nd to last 8 gig and got there around noon. guess it was just hit-or-miss with these stores. people thought they were being clever going to a slightly hidden at&t and ended up walking away with nothing!
