I went to my local AT&T store, and the manager said no at&t store is getting the iPhone on June 29th. He said it might take up to a month to get them. Is this true?

All the AT&T store around here have a poster in the window or on a stand that has a nice big picture of an iPhone and a clear, unequivocal "coming June 29."
That's an important point.
People need to be sure that they're not heading to an "authorized retailer" on Friday. They need to be at a corporate-owned AT&T store.

If it is an AT&T corporate Store, please get the Manager name and call AT&T. since some stores might to keep them for friends or try to resell at a higher price.
the manager of the at&t corp store here said they will be 100% getting them on the 29th, between 12-25 units he thinks. the other stores will not be if they are not corporate.
