I received this mysterious text message just now. I don't mind rebooting, but why would AT&T need me to reboot to complete a software update?

I updated my phone to the GM/final release well over a week ago!

I got the message earlier today.

Funny thing was on Monday I updated my older iPad Air first. And I couldn’t receive any calls on my Mac or iPhone after the iPad updated. iPhone was still on iOS 11.

Didn’t really want to update my iPhone till Tuesday so I just gave it a restart and restarted my Mac.

Fixed the issue. Assumed others were having issues thus the text. I find it more strange it wasn’t brought up more on MR.

My wife and I just received the same message 20 minutes ago. Thanks for the explanation.

Carriers usually give an update on launch day of the next major iOS, Rogers also went from 33.0 to 33.1, i checked about in settings specifically for it.

I’m still having the problem where I lose connection for a sec then it comes back but it won’t let me access data until I reboot. Really annoying. I hope they fix this soon!

Interestingly enough, now when I get calls from my wife (T-Mobile), they now show up as unknown.

[doublepost=1537554934][/doublepost]We got that on each of our existing iPhones. Re-booted - went to see what the carrier setting was for AT&T - it offered a new update from 33.1 to 33.2.

Received that text a few min ago and went to settings and about and received a carrier update, went from 33.1 to 33.2. I still rebooted afterwards just to be safe

I just got it too! There totally had to have been and issue. I talked to Apple support and they had me reset my network settings also. Going to reboot too also to be safe!

If that doesn’t fix it, switching to airplane mode for a second and then switching back might fix it… At least it did on my iPad… Quicker than rebooting.
