AT&T vs Apple Store

Does anyone know if the box and packing will be different between the 2 stores? Normaly when you buy a phone from their store it will be in an AT&T box and have their logo somewhere on the phone. Will they all be the same at both stores or different? Just trying to decide which store to go to get my iphone.

One more thing. Will they have apple care available for this phone or would you just get the insurance plan from AT&T?

insurance will more than likely not be available for the iPhone as it is not available for any of att's 'smartphones'

I'm assuming then they will have Apple Care available for it. Can you still get it even if you didn't buy the phone from Apple?

AppleCare is a good question... they have it available for normal iPods, so it would be logical to assume it will be offered on the iPhone as well.

there will probably be apple care, which in my opinion isn't really worth it. doesn't cover accidental damage, so the only way you'll get your money's worth with it is if somethings defective, unlike att's not available insurance.

I bet that AppleCare will be available for it, regardless of where you purchased it.

Are you purchasing iPhone based on which store will have the better box?? I don't know about you, but I don't plan on playing with the box much once I get it. The important thing is that it is still the same product on the inside of the box. But to answer your question, I can't see there being a separate box for AT&T stores compared to Apple stores - just like when you buy an iPod at Bestbuy, it's still the same box as at the Apple store. I'm sure you can count on the packaging being just as beautiful as the phone itself, though.
