I just upgraded my video card in my 2008 MacPro from a 8800gt to a ATI 5770. A quick flight in x-plane in OS X showed a dramatic increase in framerates. A quick flight in MSFS with windows 7 64bit and the latest ATI drivers shows no difference. Should I see a increase in framerates from the amount of extra ram alone? Do I need to turn on direct x 10?
