Ati 5870 shown as 5000

Hy there,
after going through all the graphics threads, i decided to get me an old ati 5870 to go for my 4850. So as you can read everywhere it worked fine without anything to do. But is shown as ati 5000 in the system profiler. (MP 5.1 2010)
Photoshop CC and openGL extensions show it as 5870. Do i have to worry about this or is ignoring the best way?

if this is already answered somewhere.... i could*t find it fast enough so i opened this one.

Simply means that the card is not flashed with an Apple EFI and therefore is identified in the Apple System Profiler as a generic AMD 5000 series video card.

So i forget about it and enjoy my new card.
