I searched the forums and couldn't find this, so I hope it's worth posting:

ATI 8.43 Graphics Drivers for Boot Camp

My new iMac 24" had driver version 8.390.0.0 installed after all Apple software updates had been installed.

Supported Systems:
iMac (Early 2006)
iMac(Late 2006)
iMac(2007)
MacBook Pro (15-inch)
MacBook Pro (17-inch)
MacBook Pro (Core 2 Duo 15-inch)
MacBook Pro (Core 2 Duo 17-inch)
Mac Pro

Sorry if this is common knowledge.

Install with care!

When I installed the driver by running the executable, Windows booted up at the lowest resolution and color depth and the options panel would not allow me to reset these.

I had to manually update the driver and point to the folder created when I ran the executable.

Now everything is great, and the driver version is indeed 8.430.0.0

The reason I wanted to update is that when I tried to run Crysis Demo 1.0.0.1, even the intro ads and menu system were studdering on my 2-day-old iMac. I knew the iMac 2.4 24" could run Crysis much better, as I'd seen it running on YouTube. Additionally, my old 17" Core Duo ran the demo rather smoothly, if at fairly low settings.

Version 8.43 smoothed everything out, though it appeared a failure at first.

The CCC file (Catalyst Control Center) does not seem to function, as the application simply fails to launch.

I can't use these drivers because the screen of my iMac turns black when the Windows desktop should appear. This doesn't happen when I unplug my TV from my iMac.

I believe you need .net 2.0 to install Catalyst Control Center. Worth a try.
