ATI Radeon HD 5870 1GB Mac Pro 1,1 not working

Hi, I have an ATI radeon hd 5870 1GB. I have tryed to used it on my mac pro 1,1 and it doesn't work. its just a black screen with a white little box in the left upper corner. and sometimes the hole screen turns white for a second. And i can't find any rom so i can flash (It's a pc card BTW). I use two 6-pin connectors, I have tried to turn on the mac with out the 6.pin's. but it just make a rely high and annoying sound. can anyone send me a link to ATI radeon hd 5870 1GB rom so I can flash. or maybe just a solution to the problem? (sorry if my English wasn't the best)

Sounds borked.

If it doesn't work unflashed, probably won't get better unless someone already put wrong rom on it.

Is it the official Mac version of the card that was available with later Mac Pros? Or a Windows version?

Sorry, I just re-read your post and saw that it's a PC card.

Wish I could help, but I don't have any experience with flashing video cards (My 5870 is the Mac version)
