Could some kind soul please post the URL/string that the eBay search engine uses please?
I was tinkering with mine trying to get it to use the UK search and well, it's all gone belly up.

Thanks!

Cheers mate.
A little tweak to that gets me the full version for the iPad :)
Thanks for taking the time.

Actually, sorry.
I'm ending up at the iPhone site rather than the full browser and I can't seem to get it to work properly by altering the url's.
Was that from the ipad version?

It looks like the string for the search by default uses the iPhone location. Try this one, it seems to work without having to set the browser to a compatibility mode....

Code:
http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=m570&_nkw=@search@&_sacat=See-All-Categories

Thanks again.

A little dabbling and I came up with this

Code:
http://search.ebay.co.uk/@search@?

Which seems to do the job nicely, as does your string.

It wasn't so much the iPhone URL that was the problem, rather more getting the @search@ and the .search.ebay and .shop.ebay combo right.

Anyway, working now. Appreciate the help. :)
