Coming from a 3GS where Atomic worked brilliantly, the taller screen and/or ios7 is causing problems:

1. Can't edit existing links on the initial screen. New ones can be added, but can't be edited by long pressing on them.

2. Can't get the context menu up by long pressing. E.g. on links / images.

Anyone else seeing these issues? Is there a similar alternative to Atomic?

I liked the unlimited tabs, and additional layer of passcode security.

Is Atomic iOS 7 compatible yet?

You may like Dolphin. It's what I use and is a nice browser. If you use Firefox you can also add a FF extension that works with Dolphin on your iPhone so that tabs can be shared.

I'm worried that Atomic has been abandoned as I have never once seen an update since I installed it about 7 or more months ago...

Mercury browser I think would be the closest alternative. Seems to have almost all of the same features as Atomic.

Also I would email the Atomic Browser staff of your issue.

Any idea if they are still actively developing/supporting it?

Dolphin is active. Just had an update a few days ago to bring it up to iOS 7.

Another reason to hold off IOS7 (ip4/5 users), IMHO. Atomic is quick and smooth(er) than Safari.

forget Atomic browser, just pay few bucks for iCab Mobile. It's one of the best 3rd party browser.

I am also having an issue with Atomic, when I hold down a link it no longer gives me the option to open the tab in the background, or any other options for that matter, before ios7 it did. Kind of annoying.

Get Mercury - it's basically Atomic but works and has a much nicer interface :)

I second the vote for iCab Mobile....I've been using it exclusively for over a year and it gets frequent updates (and I've got 9 other browsers - including Atomic - installed and tried out when new versions come out or a new version of iOS happens).

Downloaded it, I don't like it. atomic looks better IMO. And it works better, in Atomic I can go to an unintrusive clean look tab view while in full screen, and Atomic only has 2 grey see through buttons on each side vs/ Mercury's ugly black see through 5 buttons; 2 on the left 3 on the right.

For sure not "actively." No update for iOS 7 has happened as of yet. The developer has the new, flattened Atomic app icon, I sent it to him last week.

Looking forward to it!

Another vote for Mercury, which I'm using now. It's much faster, more capable, and far far more stable than Safari on both my 5 and my 5s. I know Safari is supposed to be faster, but it's not.

iCab just recently updated and is much improved. I had switched to Mercury which is very good but have switched back to iCab because it's a little more flexible for me.
