When did this come out (a few months ago)? Are there any costs or any negatives associated with it?

Thanks!

It has been out a few months and you get it only if you plan is a certain size or larger.

For the most part it is completely worthless because it just adds more unused minutes than you already had.

And the more you pay, the sooner AT&T will allow you to upgrade. I simply added the 1500 SMS plan and it moved my upgrade date from 3/2011 to 11/2010. I'm gonna eventually up the minute plan so that I can upgrade this summer.

So for the familytalk plan, is any number i enter valid for all the lines? I dont understand why its separated into groups.

Or do i get 10 numbers for each line?

10 numbers for the entire plan is my understanding.

As for the numbers just do not put in any AT&T mobile numbers as it would be a waste consider you already have unlimited M2M.

It is POTENTIALLY worth it... Set up your A List if your plan allows. Wait a month or two and check how much your usage drops. In my situation, I dropped my 3000 minute grandfathered plan which was $126 a month down to a 1400 minute plan at $72 bucks.. $600+ bucks in my pocktet at the end of the year... Don't listen to some of these people who don't think things through. Try it... it may save you some cash.
