Carrier Att Cust/Serv "no wifi calling in 2015"

just got off phone with att. My phone never works in my house so I called to ask about wifi calling. She said it isn't happening in 2015 and offered the sweet deal of $175 for a micro tower. Without wifi calling I may have to go T-Mobile or sprint since I work from home a bit and they have wifi calling. Any preferences on either in the KC area?

Customer service always say things they have no clue about.

I use Google Voice & the Hangouts app for wifi calling when I'm overseas. If I didn't get a good cell signal at home I'd use it there too.

I would try Google Voice over WiFi to see if that would work. There is always Skype as well.
