At least this puts to rest the speculations on plans...the iPhone will have it's own tier of pricing...what that is though, of course we still do not know.

If it is more than the standard AT&T data rates, Apple will piss off millions of people. Let's hope they did the right thing and made it less because of the "required" combo plan.

Uh...data plan ISN'T required. They said it was strongly recommended only.

USA today has a tendency for things like embellishment and flat out lying. I believe the majority of this article as it came from the mouth of an At&t exec.

However, I would not believe the bogus reporting on the "demand". Many other more reputable articles have proven the opposite.

Edit: One of the ways to generate demand is to tell people there is demand.
