How is your 3G signal. I"m thinking of getting an iphone but I need to know 3g coverage is good in those areas before I get it or else I wont get emails or messengers right?

Cool, I'm in passaic county.

Now to hear from westchester people :)

Almost convinced.

Oops, noticed I spelled westchester wrong in thread title.

Live in Bergen County and work in Westchester and I have no problems whatsoever. 3G all the time.

As already alluded to, Manhattan is where I have some issues.

Thanks guys for the replies, so far sounding positive. As for the 30 days I know about that, but I would be cancelling verizon as well and paying the early termination fee so before going through all of that wanted to make sure.

I think my main concern is at work, yonkers ny to be exact. Before inside my office building, tmobile had major issue keeping a signal forget 3g. Verizon did much better, almost no problems. Now I'm hoping ATT is on par with Verizon despite all the bad press lol. Not concerned with the city, rarely go there anymore. I do go to queens every so often.

i made the switch from verizon to att last november and haven't seen a difference between either of em to be honest.. perks: rollover minutes and my 24% fan discount ;]

This is good. Those Verizon commercials bashing ATT sure are scary though lol.
Its the main thing holding me back or I wouldve got an iphone today. Still can go back to the store but trying to do just a bit more research. I mean, can ATT's 3g coverage really be that lacking?
With such a popular phone and newer iphones to come, you would think they would have a top notch 3g network without all their bad rep.
