Att unlock iPhone 6+

Att sent me the instructions and it says backup the iPhone, erase your phone and restore. Can the backup and restore be done with iCloud? I work in another state so I am nowhere near the pc I have iTunes installed on.

Thoughts?

Yes. It doesn't matter where you are as long as you have access to your iCloud account and have enough space available to backup your phone. Make sure of that first because you will not be able to backup or restore if your phone's data and usage is greater than your space on iCloud. However, you can always purchase more room on iCloud if you need it.

you don't need to back up and restore when att tells you to. it is already unlocked on their end. all they do is enter your imei number into a list to have your iPhone unlocked. but if you want piece of mind and want to see the "congratulations" message then do the back up and restore.

Wongstser, thanks. I thought it a tad strange to need to go through that. Got the new 6s+ and want to get the most $ for the 6+. What's a good price to ask for 64gb 6+?

ask for $600. that gives room for people to lowball you. i too got the 6S+ and selling for my 16gb sg iPhone 6. i'm selling for $400 but in no rush to sell
