Is there a way to attach a contact while remaining in messages rather than the cumbersome need to exit messages and go to contacts app and share a contact via text?

I think Google keyboard (gboard) allows you to do this.

It works but if the contact doesn't have a name (has a company name only) the name field is blank in the access list.

Tbh I’ve not run into that issue because I only use the company field if ive put the contact name in of a person.

If it’s just a company I use the first name field.
