Attaching GIF's to threads??

Please can someone tell me how to add a GIF to a thread. When i try adding a GIF it just shows up as a picture icon with a red x in the middle.

Can you link me the gif in question?

It might be a size issue or alternatively, some sites actually link out MP4 files (video) instead of real gifs

When I right click on the "GIF" it shows as a video, not an image. That may be your problem.

I have to say those two gifs are very annoying and tbh, glad that cannot be used.
