when Composing a new message in Mail, i can only find a way to insert photos in the body of the message, instead of attached.

I know when you send .pdf, or .txt it attaches them, but doesn't seem to apply to photos as they only appear inline.

Is this possible to do in iphone?

Reason is i wish to send miltiple photos, and keeping them in the body clutters up the message.

Apple's Mail app indeed does that on iPhone. Also many third party e-mail apps do that with photos. I'm using Astro and that does the same think. It's quite annoying indeed. Maybe you could try Spark, Airmail or Edison mail. I'm not sure if they show it differently. Otherwise definitely approach those developers so they maybe can change it.
