Hello there!
im new to the forums and i first would like to say hi to everyone.

i will try to be as through and descriptive with the problem im currently having (please excuse my bad grammar, english is my 2nd lenguage)

so recently i bought a 3 month used 16gb 2gen iphone, the iphone was cracked for the 1.1.4 firmware but i updated it to the newest version firmware and jailbroke it. all this took place at a friends computer (wich was a mac btw and mine is a windows) because my computer was not working at the time. so in my friends house i synced 12 gbs of music with NO problem at all, but when i fixed my computer i wanted to sync my own music, so i first update itunes to its newest version and i had to make a playlist from 113 gbs of music to 12gb, so yeah..... it took me ALOT of time (and i mean ALOT)

so there i was all happy that i could finally have my iphone with all my music, and then after syncing maybe 600 songs (i keep my songs in 2 different drives my torrent files in c: and my downloaded music in d BOOM! "attempting to copy the disk "iphone" failed. an unknown error ocurred (-53). so i start struggling with this and here are some things that i noticed
1) sometimes it syncs 5 maybe 6 songs
2) sometimes it doesnt sync any songs

of course outcome #2 happening alot more often than #1. so then i thought that maybe i had a faulty HDD because like i told you i keep all my downloaded music files con disk d: and all my torrent´s cd files on disk c:, so i transfered (and this took a long time btw) all my music from drive d: to drive c: thinking maybe that drive d: was the faulty HDD, but no... i made the playlist again on itunes (another 2 hours of my life i will never get back) and the SAME thing happened.. only my torrent files transfered (the same 600 songs that at the beginning did transfer) and all my downloaded music files did not sync and i keep getting the same error once again.
this absolutely boggles my mind because if drive c: was faulty i would not be able to tranfer any songs at all.. but only the torrent files songs transfer..and the downloaded music seems to be the problem.

Also i read that sometimes files are corrupt this happens completely random... it does not happen on an exact song

So im thinkin maybe if i transfer everything to HDD d: i might not get the error and actually sync the music.. and ofcourse buy a new HDD, but the thing is i dont want to be another 2 hours trying to put a playlist together only to get the same exact error..

so any thoughts? if it helps i am running windows xp, latest version of itunes, newest firmware of iphone (jailbroken).

any questions please do not hesitate to ask!
