Attempting to play audio/video when an external display is plugged in beachballs the app

I posted this in another thread, but just in case any one else has the same issues I've had…

I just updated to 19A512f, but if I attempted to play any audio or video AT ALL, whichever app was trying to play it would beachball. Turns out it was from having my LG UltraFine 4K display plugged in. I unplugged it, and everything seems fine. I just can't use the display now, apparently.

(It also kept force-ejecting the external drives I had plugged in to my display.)

Yep I’ve got this issue - only since moving to public beta 3 (dp4)

for me it’s only a problem when I have the display (LG 4K UltraFine 22 usb-c) connected you my blackmagic egpu. Using the internal igpu to drive the display it is ok. I think it may be something messed up with the tb3 usb-c bus where it doesn’t like having the usb-c monitor in the chain. Seems like a bug in the beta. For now I’m using the monitor directly and egpu just for compute.
