This morning, I got the paper and looked at the 99 cent store ad. (I live there.)

The 99 Cents only store is celebrating 999 days in Texas.
The first 9 customers to go to a 99 cent store on March 31st in the Houston area can buy an iPod Nano for 99 cents. 2 gigs.

You have to be over 18, have a valid driver's license, and only one per family.

I figure this is a buying tip. Enjoy. Good luck. They open at 8 am. I'm trying to convince my mom to line up at 6 am. *fingers crossed*

I wonder if this is at each store or all stores. I don't know how they would keep track of all stores though.

I have one on my way to work. I usually get in at 8 but I do believe that I will be leaving the house a couple of hours early on Friday.

People lined up at 5:30 PM the day before. Hardcore, man.

All I got was a freaking scooter. It's too small for me. I'm 5'8" and it goes about 3 feet up.

We got there at 5:45 am. There were friggin' media interviews. It was weird.

But this made me vow that I'll be FIRST in line at the Memorial City mall opening. I want to be first for something
so I'm leaving my home at 3 AM. I'm gonna be first SO GOOD!

I'm never first. I'm gonna first it up so good.

katie ta achoo: When is the Memorial City mall location opening??
I couldn't find any dates other than they are hiring.

On a side note, all these store openings are crazy, it reminds me too much of those Gateway stores that popped up everywhere.
