I am considering ATV, but I have an older Sony 36" 1080i CRT HDTV (4:3, but widescreen mode capable) with component and a DVI input. The components are already spoken for, so all I have left is the DVI. I see that some are having difficulties getting this to work now with 2.0. Anybody able to get a setup like mine to work on 2.0?

Thanks!

Once I rebooted the TV (not the Apple TV), everything reset and was fine with an HDMI-DVI cable. I have a westinghouse 32" LCD, so I'm guessing you will be okay.

Thanks. Is your Westinghouse DVI HDCP-Compliant? I'm not sure my DVI is, and I'm afraid that it might not be able to support 720P because of that. I've got a Sony KV-36HS510.

Well, I just ordered an Apple TV from the Apple store, and am nervous again about my setup mentioned above. Anyone here try to connect it to an older Sony CRT HDTV with HDMI-DVI cable? Any HDCP problems?

Thanks!
