Does any one know if :apple:TV 2.3, allows looping video files?

Here is what I am trying to do:

I would like to load around 20 short video files onto an :apple:TV and run the files on an infinity loop from a single playlist.

Small scale digital signage is the intention.

The question is can it be done?
Any help would be appreciated.

1. Create a playlist in iTunes with all the "movies" you want to loop in their correct order.
2. Select all, then copy and paste the items into the same playlist over and over again until you get the amount of time you want your videos to loop.
3. Suppress the "there are duplicate items" warning.
4. In the Apple TV settings, sync over the full "movies" playlist you just created.
5. Enable playlists for movies, TV shows and podcasts under the Apple TV settings menu.

And voilà!

You'd think Apple could have a friggin "repeat" and "shuffle" setting just like iTunes does. I am NOT buying an ATV until they have such things. This is crap that iTunes has had since I started using it 4 years ago. Ugggghhh.

I just heard that it maybe now be possible to loop :apple:tv 2.3.

I haven't got an :apple:tv with me right now so perhaps someone can confirm this method works.

Here is what I have learned.

To make a video that loops on Apple TV 2.3- in iTunes create a new playlist and put the videos in that playlist. (You need a minimum of two files in the playlist for it to work.) Click on the video and then click the loop icon at the bottom of the page. Then sync with your Apple Tv and then go to Settings->Audio & Video -> Show Playlists (All) and then Repeat Music (on). Then go to Movies -> My Movies -> Playlists ->and select the playlist that you just made with the video -> click on the video and it should loop!!
