A few days ago I bought the ATV 2 to stream my music that is formatted in Apple Lossless Audio Codec and to stream movies from Netflix. I'm planning to get an iPod Touch this week to use the airplay function. I would like to know if I could use airplay to stream music from the ipod touch to the atv 2 without turning on my 2011 13" MacBook Pro that has OS X 10.6.8 and without using my tv to choose the albums.
Is there a way to choose songs on the iPod touch airplay feature instead using my tv to look at the songs?
